PURPOSE:To increase the utilizing efficiency of a recording medium, by shifting on and after the data block to be defective to the end location of rejected area when it is discovered on a recording track of magnetic disc, and performing the recording of format data from the end location. CONSTITUTION:If rejected areas are discovered, a CPU1 feeds an instruction to a floppy disc control section (FDD)5, a signal N1 is fed to a control section 21 of the CPU1 through a command register 23 and write-data are requested. Thus, the content of a X, Y register 16 is incremented, a data memory 4 is accessed, and data are transferred to a buffer register 26. In the transfer, a Z register 12 shifts on and after the data block to be defective to the end location of the rejected areas to start recording. The FDD receiving the data alters the data table of format, allowing to recover the error. Accordingly, the utilizing efficiency of recording medium can be increased. |
