The water sledge (C) may support a single erect rider and may be towed by a power boat, incorporating a foot-hold (F) with a pedal (3) steering system. It may have a rectangular plan with splay tapered ends, comprising two glass fibre reinforced polyester shells (1,2) which are joined by polymerisation. Both shells (1,2) are internally lined with polyurethane foam, including an integral front toe strap (F) and rear fin (D) respectively. Steering may use rudder (G) of which the pintle (13) passes, through a hole in board (C). A rotatable rear pedal (3) or foot plate surmounts pintle (13), taking a footstep bearing on shell (1) integral cup formation (1'). A pin in a slotted rail may support rudder (G) to the fore, also limiting its angular travel.
