<p>The vacuum-sacking machine is for powdery or granular material, having a hopper with at the bottom a spour, funnel and distorting chute. A facuum tank is connected by passages with the lower lips of the chute, and a grab removes a sack hung on the latter to a gluing or welding station sealing it shut. The chute is formed by two steel strips, coated with rubber for sealing purposes and having apertures. A hydraulic drive opens and shuts it by means of two hammers and two flaps acting aainst its outside. The grab comprises two arms pressing against the top edges of a sack at two different times and two different pressures. An electro-magnetic programmer controls filling and evacuation of the sack and drive movements during a cycle.</p> |
