摘要 <p>The coating system has the solar cells (26) suspended from a holder and dipped into a bath containing the liquid from which the film is to be made. The liquid in the bath is maintained at constant viscosity. The surfaces being coated are vertical and the solar cells are removed slowly from the bath in such a way as to exclude draughts, oscillating motion and contamination. The rate of removal from the bath is equal to or less than the rate at which excess liquid flows from the surfaces of the cells. Alternatively, the liquid may be made to flow over cells instead of being static in a bath. The liquid has a viscosity of 3.5-4.5 centistokes and the removal rate of the cells is 2-3 mm/min.</p>
