Rotating assembly for simultaneous analysis of biological fluid - uses cells equipped for centrifugal ejection, cleaning and drying

The rotor carries several peripheral cells (2) each contg. a ball (3) of polystyrene covered with an antibody protein and intended to collect successive quantities of e.g. a biological liq. contg. the substance to be analysed, and of a reagent contg. a protein with a fixed biological indicator. An axial opening (4) admits cleaning fluid which is distributed by radial pipes (5) to the cells (2), each of which has a liq. outlet (7) and an inlet (8) for the reagent.. Reliable analysis is afforded with a number of simultaneous dosages (e.g. five for a thyroid analysis) in a compact device (dia. up to 5cm) requiring few manipulations.
