Repairing undersea pipelines in deep water - by removing damaged part, raising sound ends to surface and substituting piping forming complete flexible loop simplifying operations

Method of repairing undersea pipes submerged at great depth, comprises substituting for the damaged section a pipe forming a complete flexible loop. When the pipe is relaid, it effects a rotation through 360 deg. before taking up its original direction. The method does not require the presence of divers and is suitable for pipes submerged in deep water where the hazards of intervention are eliminated.
