Securing clip for windscreen wiper blade - has profiled plastic moulding gripped by hooked end of arm

The securing clip for linking a windscreen wiper arm to the wiper blade assembly has a U-shaped plastics moulding with the centre having separate sprung strips (33) to grip the pivot bolt for the wiper assembly while the curved end of the wiper arm is looped over the outer sprung tags (30,32). The sides of the outer tags have flanges (37) to locate in the curved end of the wiper arm. The plastic clip has no sharp edges to cause injury and provides a simple, low cost bearing for the pivoted mounting.
