The striker mechanism is designed for use in mining or demolition work. The drive for the return thrust of the striker piston is provided by hydraulic cylinders evenly distributed on the peripheral circle of the housing. Each piston rod is connected to the striker piston grab mechanism. One cavity is constantly linked with the inside hollow in the power cylinder, to move the grab mechanism into position for seizing the striker piston. The other is periodically linked with the pressure source, to carry out the grab's and striker piston's return thrust, and it is in contact with the main duct, for pressure-carrier removal.
