<p>The thermo-acoustically insulating roller window blinds are contained in insulated frames fixed to the wall. The blind is rolled onto an axle (G) running in pivots in the top of the frame and is made up of a flexible insulating material (D) sandwiched between thin e.g. plastics sheet (B,C). An air-tight seal around the window bay is achieved by the lower profile (F) fitting into the bottom of the frame (H), by flexible beadings on the blind edges which run in co-operating channels in the vertical sides of the frame and by the two upper cross-members (P,Q) which form a constriction through which the blind passes.</p> |
