<p>The vacuum packing consists of sections (3) joined side by side along a common seam (1). The ends of the bag are fitted with lugs (2) with through slots (5) to engage locating pins. The bag is fitted with a connection (6) for a vacuum pump, to evacuate the contents of the container. The bag may also be compressed between hydraulic cylinders. The lower part of the bag is made from flexible material and attached by a thick wall (8). Each side contains a groove (9) and a sealing lip (10).</p> |
