<p>Bags made from tubular film are provided with integral handles by a longitudinal slit at or near the middle of one end of the bag so that the bag is supported by material from almost the full width of the bag. The sides are trimmed back for a short distance alongside each handle, for access to the interior of the bag by spreading the handles normal to the main faces of the bags. Used to provide stronger handles than the conventional vest pattern bag, without involving multiple layers or other reinforcement.</p> |
