<p>The servo is incorporated in the manual controls of a grinder. A pin-jointed (17) leg (16) supports a rocker beam (14) with a fulcrum (15). The beam locates a grinder (12) and motor (13). An inverted hydraulic jack (1, 3, 4) controls beam inclination, its extended push rod (4) being pinned (5) to the beam (14), and its body (1) being pinned (A) to a leg (16) support (18). An offset pin (0) secures the lever (8) to a support (18). A lever (10) on an intermediate blade spring fulcrum (D) extends from the jack control pin (C). A pin-jointed (E, B) link (9) connects the levers. Hand pressure on the lever (19) causes the cable (25) to displace the joint (E) down with uplift at the leg joint (C). The jack extends to transfer an amplified downward pressure to the grinder (12).</p> |
