[1,1 min -Biphenyl]-3-ylmethyl 3-(2,2-dihaloethenyl)- 2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylates are disclosed and shown to control a broad spectrum of insects as well as acarids. Compositions containing and methods of producing such compounds are also disclosed.
