<p>The cold cycle for an absorption heat pump is coupled to a heating cycle via heat-exchangers, and a device incorporating the pump burner effects vapourless heat exchange, with increased output when external temperature in an environmental heat carrier is below a prescribed level, in a bivalent heating installation. The burner (26) for the pump (10) is fitted with a heat-exchanger (60), with heating water flowing through it. With the burner effecting vapourless heat exchange, this is heated without intervention from the cold cycle and is switched into the heating network (40) instead of the absorber (40) heat exchangers (50,52) and fluidiser.</p> |
