Stacking control for printer - has electromagnetic vibrator plates on three sides of stack

The stacking control for a printer has the printed sheets dropped onto a stack, three sides of which are bounded by vibrating vertical plates which shake the stack into a neat pile. The plates are vibrated by electromagnetic vibrators and require no moving mechanical parts. The stacking control operates quietly and efficiently. The frequency is a sub-division of mains frequency, at approx. 10 Hz. The control is by a period group switching circuit driven by a triac.
