PURPOSE:To change character array simply, by providing a means which can designate plural indent positions in one line to make change of indents possible and by processing data with ranges partitioned by indents as units. CONSTITUTION:The character processor is provided with keyboards KB1 and KB2, and data editing processing part CCPU is connected to keyboards KB1 and KB2, and this processing part CCPU is provided with a CPU, an ROM. and an RAM. Plural indent keys to designate indent positions are arranged on keyboard KB2, and the RAM is provided with an indent register. One of memories BUF1 and BUF2 is selected according to instruction of processing part CCPU by selector SC, and its contents are displayed on CRT unit DP. In this display, plural indent positions can be designated in one line by indent keys, and ranges partitioned by indents are used as units to process data in display control circuit DC, thus changing character array simply. |
