<p>A spirit level for a one-man mobile powered tool such as an electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drill riveting hammer etc. enables the tool position to be determined in two dimensions from the instant of starting an operation until its end. The spirit level can be rigidly fixed in different types of housing or mounting. The housing or mounting can be attached using magnetic or mechanical fixings which permit its angular position to be adjusted. The reading characteristics of the spirit level can be improved by the use of mirrors or prisms. The vertical position of the tool can be determined using a single level in a longitudinal or circular form. The level can be detached from the tool.</p> |
