The combination of linear supports for wind wheels and combined wind rotors provides considerable constructional savings, both in equipment and size of foundations. This results also in better wind force utilisation, resulting in approximately 30 times higher current generation. Ten wind wheels are vertically stacked so that the upper ones provide a higher utilisation of the rotors. In this manner the shaft output of the wind wheels is coupled to a horizontal shaft, driving powerful generators and compressors. The wind rotors are of conical design for speed stabilisation. They utilise the highest wind forces and thus contribute to the system stability. |
