<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the display space and the number of signal lines for display so as to make the display equipment small-size, by displaying the list of 7 days of the week collectively and successively from Sunday by the week unit through utilizing the numeric display part of the computer. CONSTITUTION:In case that the mode change-over switch is set to the calendar, it is assumed that today is May 16 (Wednesday), 1979 as an example. In this case, the week cal dar from the 13th (Sunday) including today to the 19th (Saturday) is displayed collectively corresponding to a day of the week. For the purpose of indicating it is displayed by adding ''1'' to maximum digit 20 of numeric display digit 24 that this week is in the level of the 10th. Further, display ''6'' of numeric display digit 24 is flashed to report that today is the 16th(Wednesday), and therefore, the user can read the calendar of this week with Sunday as display at the most left digit. By this display method, the number of signal lines for display becomes 39 approximately if the duty for time division driving of the liquid crystal display equipment used as the display equipment is 1/3, so that the number of signal lines is reduced considerably.</p> |
