Hydraulic rotatable work table for machine tool - has two hydraulic accumulators to provide energy saving brake

The rotatable work-table of a machine tool is rotated by a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor is connected to a circuit consisting of three multi-way valves and two hydraulic accumulators. The table is set in motion by actuating one of the multi-way valves which releases a hydraulic lock and connects the motor to one of the accumulators. When the table has reached the mid-point of its travel it actuates the circuit valves so that the motor is cut off from the first accumulator and is connected to the second accumulator which acts as a brake and brings the table to rest.
