PURPOSE:To simplify the I/O part constitution, by applying a coupling device for the computer which requires coupling to many I/O devices and by using single terminals of input and output circuits to fetch data from the input device and control the output device. CONSTITUTION:Microswitch 1 and lamp 2 are connected as input device 6 and output device 5 respectively to single terminal 4A of input/output circuit 4. Program control is performed for repeat of time TIN when input/output circuit 4 is operated as the input circuit and time TOUT when circuit 4 is operated as the output circuit to make time TIN shorter then time TOUT. As a result, circuit 4 is controlled and switched to be operated as the output circuit during the control time of unit 5 and as the input circuit in a comparatively short time, thereby fetching data from input device 6. |
