<p>PURPOSE:To realize the formation of segments so that the plotted data can be easily edited as the post-processing after accmulating the plotted data by using a pen-up time distribution measuring circuit, a segment formation threshold value searching circuit, and a segment forming circuit. CONSTITUTION:A pen-up time distribution measuring circuit 21 measures a pen-up time distribution of the accumulated plotted data. Then a segment formation threshold value searching circuit 22 decides the presence or absence of a single pattern where pictures are continuously plotted based on a face whether the distributing frequency of the pen-up time measured by the circuit 21 exceeds the threshold value or not. Based on said deciding result, a segment forming circuit 23 produces segments. Thus it is possible to absorb the individual difference in response to the input data at editing in terms of the input errors caused in the picture plotting/storing service and to transform the plotted data into segments so that the plotted data can be easily edited.</p> |
