PURPOSE:To hold the gap between the drum and the recording electrode stably with a high reliability, by providing a sensor, which is fixed to the recording electrode for electrostatic latent image forming or recording and detects the distance to the drum outside circumference face, and a connecting and separating means which causes the recording electrode to follow eccentricity of the drum through a cam by the signal of the sensor above. CONSTITUTION:Cam 18 is fixed to rotating shaft 16, which is rotated through flexible joint 19 by pulse motor 21, near rotary drum 2. Micrometer head 12 is fitted to fitting plate 11 fixed to recording electrode 1, and the tip of head 12 is pressure- fixed to roller 13 put on the V groove of lever 14. Lever 14 has one end supported rotatably by the support shaft, and free end 14a is pressed to cam 18. When gap G between tip 15a of sensor fixed to fitting plate 11 and the outside circumference face of drum 2 exceeds a prescribed value and fluctuates, a pulse is generated, and cam 18 is rotated in positive and reverse directions through pulse motor 20 to hold gap G while following eccentricity of drum 2. Consequently, gap G is held fixed stably with a high reliability. |
