<p>In construction work involving driving in sheet piling, piles or similar, use is made of a pi'le-driving winch (3), with appropriate drive components and rammer (7). These are combined, so as to form a structural and operational entity, by a common supporting and guiding skeleton framework (5,6). The winch gear or its switch coupling may be switched on and off by remote control from the ground. Drive can be provided by electric or hydraulic motors.
