<p>A flywheel incorporated in a vehicle having an internal combustion engine is driven simultaneously with the start of the internal combustion engine and, upon a vehicle being accelerated up to a predetermined speed, the internal combustion engine is put in idling so that the vehicle is driven by the action of the flywheel. The idling of the internal combustion engine and the action of the flywheel are controlled by first and second timer mechanisms.</p> |
