<p>An electrostatographic reproduction system including a finishing station having a compiler (82) for compiling sheets arriving from a xerographic processor (11) into sets and a stitcher, stapler or other binding device (84) for binding the compiled sets. The stapler (84) with its cooperating anvil is pivotally mounted for movement between an inoperative position which it assumes during compiling and whereat it is outside the path of sheets being compiled and an operative position in which it is arranged to apply a staple to the set. </p> |
