PURPOSE:To prevent the poor rotation of a spindle due to a waste fiber deposited on the conventional brake member, by braking the rotation of a spindle with a brake member inserted in a holding part with a suitable distance from the braking peripheral surface of the spindle opposite to the braking peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:A holding part 5d is provided with a suitable distance l from the braking peripheral surface 1a of a spindle 1A opposite to the surface 1a. The holding part 5d is partly extended from a braking metal fixture 5, bent at a right angle to the base 5c of the metal fixture 5, and fixed by attaching the base 5c to a spindle rail 4 etc. For braking the rotation of the spindle 1A, a braking member 7 constituted of a material, such as a leather, rubber or synthetic resin, having a high coefficient of friction is inserted between the braking peripheral surface 1a and the holding part 5d. The braking member 7 is carried by a worker at all times. Thus, no poor rotation due to a waste fiber accumulated in the space between the braking peripheral surface 1a and a brake shoe opposite to each other with a narrow gap. |
