PURPOSE:To facilitate originating service operation for telegrams by providing the mechanisms that accept the address and name of a telegram receiver, a communication message, etc., through key operation, display the number of characters of the communication message and telegram charge and transmits a telegram signal through switch operation. CONSTITUTION:After a telegram originating operator pushes switch 4 to inform a central telegraph office of telegram transmission, lamp 7 turns on when a signal showing that reception is held in readiness arrives from the central telegraph office. During the above-mentioned period, indication key 8 is operated and then keys 10-14 are pushed to input the address, name, postal code number, etc., of a receiver. The postal code number is desplayed on display unit 15. Next, in dication keys 9 and keys 10-12 are pushed to input a commnication message. A communication- message telegraph signal is processed by converter 30 and operator 31 to display the number of characters of the communication message and telegraph charge on display units 18 and 19 respectively. Input signals of the address and name of the receiver and the communication message are inputted to and held in signal processing part 29. When lamp 7 for reception readiness turns on with the signal from the central telegraph office, information on payment of the telegraph charge is received and originating switch 6 is pushed to send the telegraph signal to a central post office, etc., from control part 28 via communication part 32. |
