摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To suddenly reduce a sheet thickness deviation in rolling start time and to reduce off-gages by installing a low-pass filter in the front stage of a proportional arithmetic circuit and a delay circuit in the back stage of the arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A low-pass filter 42 and a delay circuit 44 are installed in the front stage and the back side of a proportional arithmetic circuit 43, respectively. At the time of rolling start, sheet thickness deviation signals contain larger amplitude signals and a hunting condition may occur triggered by those large signals. To prevent the hunting condition, high frequency components are removed by the filter 42 to increase a proportional gain and to reduce a sheet thickness deviation. At the rolling start time, the delay circuit 44 stops outputs of proportional calculation to prevent a trigger on hunting because non-rolled stock is carried in at the start and sheet thickness deviation data is largely variable. Hence, the deviations at rolling start are suddenly reduced to reduce the number of defective stocks.</p>
