Various shoe sole tread designs featuring at least one longitudinally continuous rib of material to facilitate material flow during (injection) moulding and to improve longitudinal and flexural strength of the sole (and heel). Applicable to natural or synthetic (polyurethane) rubber moulded soles with heavy profile tread patterns. The longitudinal rib(s) may be generally straight, curved, or even a marked zig-zag o staggered shape. |
