<p>PURPOSE:To make possible character printing at high speeds and high grade by arranging LED groups spirally on the outside circumference of a rotator and opposedly contacting these with photosensitive drum by way of a light slit. CONSTITUTION:LED2-2 are disposed spirally on the outside circumference of a cylindrical rotator 1 so as to make a round by the rotation of the rotator 1. The respective LED groups are directly connected so that they are turned and simultaneously by the external signals. If the rotator 3-1 having such LED groups 3-2 is opposedly contacted with a photosensitive drum 3-4 by way of a light slit 3-3 having the mutually opposing holes of the number equal to that of the LED groups, the LEDs print characters for 1 line by 1 revolution of the drum. The diameters of the holes of the slit 3-3 are made about 50-100mu. The photoprinter having such character printing mechanism develops 4-5 the latent images formed on the drum 4-4 via slit 4-3 and transfers 4-6 the same.</p> |
