PURPOSE:To ensure an aural time announcement for an analog watch, by extracting the electrical information through a detection of the rotational phase of the watch wheel train and then selecting the aural data for announcement based on the electrical information. CONSTITUTION:The electric-mechanical converter 11 is advanced with the output of the timing circuit 8 to give a time display. The phase detecting plates 21 and 22 are attached to the wheel train 1 to detect the display time. With operation of the call switch, the time detected by the plates 21 and 22 is held at the time data latching means 3. And the selector 41 selects the aural data 42 which coincides with the information held at the means 3. This selected data is then given a D-A conversion to give a time announcement. And the swicthing between the Japanese and the English is possible via the voice switching means 43. |
