<p>A unit for continuously treating the water in swimming pools has a container with a partition near its base. Below the partition are the components both of filter circuits and of valves for metering treatment chemicals into the water, and the partition has apertures for connecting the container interior with either or both of the filtering and chemical treatment components. Apertures not in operation can be closed off. Filter cartridges may be mounted on circular flanged apertures in the container base, with their tops engaged by plugs on the underside of the container lid. The single unit replaces the two separate filtering and chemical treatment units which were previously required.</p> |
