<p>The simulator comprises a base (1) carrying (via 6,5) a frame (3; 9,15) which is rotatable (4) about a central vertical axis and tippable about a horizontal pivot (8) at its centre. The sail board platform (18) is carried by the frame and tippable in lateral direction about a longitudinal central pivot (17). The frame may be carried on the base via a universal joint (6, 5,8) or a ball joint. The pivot (8) or ball joint may be provided with an adjustable friction coupling. This lateral tipping movement may be limited by a resilient stop, such as a cord stretched between the uprights (15) of the frame.</p> |
