Folding deformed coated wood particle board - involves edge pressure application, and cemented v=groove

Surfaces produced by U-shaped grooves are cemented, in folding deformed structural elements comprising thin panels of pref. wood-particle materials coated with flexible foil, or similar. The groove (4), varying its direction inside the panel (1), is worked into the panel by a tool (3) moving in an arc shape, or by correspondingly moved tool and panel, so that, with the groove cemented, its adjacent surface areas produce an overall three dimensionally formed fold-structure element. The edges of the panel are engaged by pressure units, and at the beginning of folding others engage in the area of the panel surface. Inexpensive panels can be given all-round rigidity, and a good finish with interesting profiling.
