The hinged joint is for a component turning or rocking between two supports, particularly one forming part of a vehicle suspension system. A bore accommodates a hinge pin mounted on each side of the component in a bearing in an opening in the respective support. The pin is in two halves (7,8), inserted in the suspension arm (1) from opposite sides, the protruding portion of each half fitting in a bearing (19,20). The inner ends of the halves are clear of each other inside the bore. Stops limit the distance to which they are inserted. Axial stops (15,16) are fitted between each bearing and its respective pin half. |
