PURPOSE: To switch over in a range from maximum to minimum vibration by a method wherein a shaft is supported in a freely rotatable state in a pipe, and a case, a stub, and a bearing are provided with a means for cooperation. CONSTITUTION: A means is provided to support a shaft 58 of the eccentric weight part assembly of a vibration mechanism useful to an earth compactor drum 10 through journal connection in a manner to be freely rotatable in a pipe 42, and support the shaft 58 in the pipe 42 in a case, stubs 64 and 66, and a bearing 70, and perform cooperation actuation. In this constitution, a relative relation of an eccentric weighted position between a pipe having a part weighted by bringing it into an eccentric state, and a shaft having a part supported rotatably in a pipe and brought into an eccentric state to be weighted is switched to a state between a maximum vibration state and a minimum vibration state. |
