PURPOSE:To prevent the deposition of dust at the rear end of a magnetic head slider by providing pores, penetrating the floating surface and rear flank, at the read end of the slider. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic head slider 10 is provided with plural and fine pores 4, penetrating the floating surface and rear flank, at read end B of the slider. As a result, air flow is blown out of the slider rear flank by way of pores 4 of the floating surface. Therefore, the generating of a vortex of a following wake at the slider rear flank can be prevented. The said constitution can prevent dust from being deposited at the rear end of slider 10. Therefore, a head crush, damage of a disk, etc., due to a deposit of dust can be prevented. |
