PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, fast color printer by providing length adjusting mechanisms which adjust the length of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The length adjusting mechanism 20 and 21 for the photosensitive body 10 are provided on the 1st path extending from an electrostatic charging part 1 to a development part 3 through an exposure part 2 and the 2nd path which extends a 2nd electrostatic charging part 4 to a 2nd development part 6 through a 2nd exposure part 5. Thus, the path shortening mechanisms are provided in the paths extending from the exposure parts to the development parts and then the beltlike photosensitive body is able to detour leaving the paths extending from the exposure parts to the development parts. Consequently, the detouring distance is made long in fast printing operation and further the development parts are arranged nearby the exposure parts, so the device is never made large. |
