<p>The device, forming a protection if an insulator breaks in a multiple path insulator chain, includes an element (1) made from a soft material with good properties of expansion, such as aluminium. This can be shaped as a sleeve, with securing strips (29) top and bottom, and a clearance space (27) between it and a carrier arm (23). This arm is attached to a spacer (28) between the arms (21, 22) of the insulator chain support, which has a vertical arm (15) from which the insulator (12) is suspended. The lower securing strip is attached to an arm (25) projecting from the insulator cap (14). The sleeve shaped element supports the insulator if a breakage occurs.</p> |
