Device for storing in memory, searching and processing data, including a set of recording media of like dimensional characteristics. The said media are preferably rectangular and each have a cartesian address matrix, each address being provided with a space for receiving a signal (C 2. F 4. J 7. Q 3.) from a series of more than two distinct signals. Superimposing the various media makes it possible to obtain coincidences at the same addresses between signals carried on the various media, thus making it possible to locate coincidences of data relating to the same address.
