The carburettor consists of a housing (1) with an evaporator duct (2) and a moveable duct (4). The throttle valve (14) is fitted with a bored passage for the slow running jet (12) fed through the passage entrance (11). Fuel is supplied to the chamber (5) and is fed to the container (3) at the side of the atomiser (13) through a jet. The atomiser has a splayed opening and is furnished with small diameter circumferential holes. The atomised fuel forms a toroid around the end of the central cone in the duct (2).
