Dual change lever for racing bicycle - has both close mounted on common block to provide single handed operation

The gear change has a block (10), fixed to the upper part of the bicycle frame front tube. This avoids any approach near to the wheel spokes and the block can be welded in position in the factory, or fitted. For the latter case, holes are drilled in the tube (14) and threaded inserts fitted for the attaching screws (11). A lever (1) is fitted each side of the block, mounted on a common spindle. The proximity of these levers to each other permits single handed rapid operation of either or both.
