PURPOSE: To improve economy of a machining method and to perform program control of the whole workpiece face in a single machining cycle by forming a holding part supporting a rotatable tool table of a revolver head provided with a rotational axis corresponding to the second main axis. CONSTITUTION: A holding part supporting a rotatable tool table 50 is formed of revolver heads 36-44 provided with rotational axis C corresponding to a second main axis Y and is provided with at least two program-controlled rotatable tool tables 50 possessing rotational axes B1 , B2 , B3 , B4 crossing the rotational axis C of the revolver heads in a single point vertically. Working sleeves 541 -544 and mounting parts 521 -524 for various working units like auxiliary working apparatus such as a measurement device and a manual operation apparatus are provided. The mounting parts 521 -524 can be adjusted along a fourth translation axis W vertical to the rotational axis of the respective tool rotatable tables 50, and in this adjustment, the rotational axis C of the heads 36 is a program-controlled adjustable axis. |
