The harvester for vines has a wheeled frame carrying arms for blocks with a set of fingers each side of the central axis, to grip the roots. Underneath, on the central axis, are two conveyors onto which fall the harvested fruit. The frame has uprights with an oscillator on a cross piece at the top. This acts against cranked side arms with the toothed blocks at the bottom, to move the blocks to grip the roots of the vines during operation. Each toothed block has two plates with tooth projecting from one, and guided by holes through the other. A piston and cylinder is mounted on the rear of the inner plate to adjust the angle of the teeth. These are mounted on tilting blocks.
|
