PURPOSE:To improve manipulation by using for mode switching one pulse side of a control signal, used for rotary phase control over a rotary head, etc., by varying the duty with a recording state information signal. CONSTITUTION:A sound stereophonic signal, etc., is inputted from recording state information signal input terminal 4 in addition to a reference control signal from reference control signal input terminal 1. Those signals are recorded on tape 8 via contact (a) of recording-reproduction change-over switch 6 as a rotation control signal for the rotary head and a control signal containing a recording state information signal. Next, the recorded control signal is reproduced via contact (b) of change-over switch 6 and head 7 to obtain signals H and F applied to the 1st and 2nd one-shot circuits 12 and 13. Between signals H and F, a duty variation component in recording is contained and applied to sound multiplex modulator 16 via phase detector 14, etc., to determine the sound multiplex mode. |
