Paper strip cutting folding and stacking machine - includes collecting station for assembling small stacks after folding

The stacking machine has a number of feeders which supply the individual sheets of paper. The sheets are stored into stacks at one end of a collector which assembles a number of stacks into one. The continuous strip of material is fed to cutters upstream of the collectors,and the paper is folded before stacking. The collector has a straight portion and a curved portion so that the stacks do not have to change direction suddenly during transport. The folding is effected by means of a roller fitted with suction pads feeding a conveyor.
