<p>The horizontal leg (9) of the 'L'-section forms a paved bedding area (9b) and the vertical leg (10) a partition or boundary wall. The unit is of partic. application at intensive stock- rearing establishments. Units may be placed in parallel pairs with the horizontal legs (9) facing inward and with roof cladding spanning the vertical legs (10). They are sited with a definite gap between their respective leg ends (20). Standard slabs (11) may be placed between the leg ends (20) for form an excrement trough, and the leg ends may include intermittent kerbing (19) to a definite pattern. Slab to leg end joints may use an inverted 'L'-section outhang (20) housing onto a slab edge upstand (11a).</p> |
