<p>A body fluid-purifying apparatus having a column type hollow vessel (11) equipped with an inlet (12) and an outlet (13) for body fluid. This vessel (11) retains non-coated petroleum pitch series activated carbon particles (19) which have been washed in a physiologically acceptable washing solution using ultrasonic waves to such degree that the number of particles having a particle diameter of 2 (Alpha) or more and floating in said washing solution becomes 100 or less per ml of the solution and the number of particles having a particle size of 5 (Alpha) or more becomes 10 per ml of the solution. </p> |
