Waste water pit tank - has wall tension flange fixed by clamp union part with insert socket for sealed flange fixture and insert pieces

The collection tank is for waste water, and has at least one smooth side wall in which at least one aperture is provided for connection to a drainage system. On the other side of the wall a clamp union is provided for connecting to this system. In the assembly of the tank (1) as a pit with odour and backflow cut-off, a one piece tension flange is provided, which can be fixed against the inside of the side wall (4) with a sleeve (9) of the clamp union (8). This flange also incorporates an insert socket and fixtures for water-tight attachment of a connecting flange, an insert edge and recesses for insert pieces.
